Application and Removal Instructions

To maximize the durability of your DYDM nails, it's essential to follow our Application and Removal Instruction.
Before you apply your DYDM nails, please refer to our DYDM nail size guide to ensure you select the correct size nail.

1. If the nail is too big, use the nail file to file down the sides and edges of the press-on nail. Start with small, gentle motions and check the fit frequently to avoid removing too much material.

2.  In case the DYDM nail is too small, use a hairdryer to heat up the nail and then bend it slightly to make the curvature smaller. This will make it appear bigger and fit better on your nail.

Our tool pack includes both glue and gel stickers to give you the flexibility to choose your preferred method of application.

Gel stickers provide a strong hold, and can be easy to remove without causing damage to your nails or DYDM press-on nails. This means that you can reuse the press-on nails multiple times if you use the gel stickers to apply them.

While the glue provides a strong and long-lasting hold, it also makes it more difficult to remove the press-on nails without damaging them. The glue can also be used to reattach any gems or decorations that may become loose over time. Please refer to the FAQs for detailed instructions.

**DYDM press-on nails will not be reusable if you use glue to apply them. **

How to apply my DYDM nails?

      1. Gently push back cuticles using the flat side of the wooden stick.
      2. Use a nail file to buff the surface of your nails vertically. This will remove any oil or debris on your nails, making it easier for the press-on nails to stick
      3. Wipe your nails with an alcohol pad to remove any remaining residue or oil
      4. Select the adhesive sticker that fits your nail bed size.
      5. Make sure to leave about 1mm of space from your cuticles then rub sticker firmly on your nail to get rid of air bubbles. (Tip: If you want your press on nails to stay longer, blow dry the adhesive sticker on your nails for 10 seconds with low heat.)
      6. Apply press-on nails at 45 degree angle, starting from the base of your nails. Press the nail firmly for at least 30 seconds.
      7. Avoid water and heavy duty for at least 3 hours. This will give the adhesive time to fully dry and adhere to your natural nail.
Our DYDM nails are no different than a typical gel manicure you would get in a nail salon. With the correct application, our DYDM nails stay on as sturdy and stone as it can be from a freshly done manicure!

How to safely remove my DYDM nails?

      1. Soak nails in warm water for 10 minutes.
      2. Use the flat side of the wooden stick to gently slide into the side of the nail bed
      3. Gently pry the press-on nail away from the natural nail, start at one corner and work your way across the nail, using a gentle back-and-forth motion.
      4. Once the press-on nail is removed, use a twisting motion to twirl the pointy end of the stick over the residue on both your natural nails and press-on nails.
      5. Wash your hands with soap and water to remove any remaining traces of adhesive.
DYDM nails should be stored properly in a clean, dry place after each use. It's important to avoid exposing the nails to excessive water, heat, or pressure, as this can cause them to lift or become damaged.
